How to Calculate GST (10%) the Right Way

GST in Australia is 10%, but adding it and extracting it from a total are two different sums. Here's how to do both.
To add GST to a price, multiply the price by 1.1. So $100 + GST becomes $110.
To work out the GST included in a GST-inclusive total, divide the total by 11. So $110 includes $10 of GST.
